Nuremberg, July 22nd, 2019 | Mobility service provider Choice from Nuremberg has founded a new subsidiary, Nuts One GmbH, on July 10th, 2019. The company is active in the field of new innovative mobility concepts, both as a developer and consultant. Nuts One operates from Berlin’s Hardenbergplatz from the beginning of August.
Most of the mobility experts working for Nuts One were previously employed at the now decommissioned InnoZ (Innovationszentrum für Mobilität und gesellschaftlichen Wandel). Bego Jasenac, Chief Financial Officer of Choice, and Hannes Beyer, Director of Digital Business Models at Choice, have been appointed as Managing Directors of Nuts One. They will take on this new task in addition to their previous positions at Choice.
“In Berlin, we want to benefit from the proximity to new mobility offerings and actors. Together with various experts, we want to accompany the development of new mobility concepts and products until they reach market maturity”, comments Hannes Beyer regarding the strategic direction of Nuts One.
The new company sees itself as a laboratory for new mobility with a focus on research and conception, hydrogen mobility and self-driving shuttles. In addition to providing in-depth market knowledge and professional advice, Nuts One also organizes demonstrational operations that provide deep insights into real-world application scenarios and can thus form the basis for further optimization.
“Nuts” is the abbreviation for "New Urban Transportation Solutions", while the addition "One" underscores the company's holistic view of new mobility concepts as well as the vision of single-access and a one-stop-shop for the mobility of tomorrow.
