Nuremberg, Oct. 8th, 2018 | The cooperation between the mobility service provider Choice, the car-sharing network Flinkster of Deutsche Bahn, Mazda Germany and location partner Lidl had a very successful start and will be available at over 250 locations with a total of 850 vehicles. The goal of Mazda Carsharing is to bring the sustainable mobility trend to all areas of Germany.
Even though the rollout of all 850 vehicles is still in process and no appropriate marketing campaigns have been launched yet, all cooperation partners are already very pleased with the four-digit Mazda Carsharing App download numbers, the corresponding registrations and several hundred bookings. The availability of vehicles at selected Lidl branches in Nordrhein-Westfalen particularly enjoys great popularity. The Mazda Carsharing service includes all current models of the Japanese car manufacturer – from the compact Mazda2 to the iconic Mazda MX-5 roadster. The integration of the Mazda vehicles into the Flinkster network makes them also available through the “Flinkster” app of Deutsche Bahn. The central locations of the selected Lidl branches also add to the attractiveness of the service. With the offer, Deutsche Bahn wants to provide mobility solutions where the customer can easily access them without additional routes.
